Format: Commander

Commander: Sliver Hivelord

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Casting Sliver Hivelord as a five-color commander, this deck builds a resilient Sliver battle swarm and wins through overwhelming combat. The primary plan is to accelerate into Hivelord, then drop cheap Slivers that grant haste, flying, and pumping (Galerider, Heart, Predatory, Sinew, Megantic), eventually finishing with Sliver Legion or Shared Animosity and double strike. A secondary path uses Virulent Sliver's poison counters to kill players that are hard to race. The commander's role is board protection: his indestructible ability keeps every Sliver alive through conventional damage and destroy effects. Rukarumel, Biologist acts as a value engine and pseudo-commander by making Slivers harder to answer and producing extra tokens, but the deck does not require her to function.
