Commander: Dina, Soul Steeper

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Golgari life-drain/aristocrats combo deck built around Dina, Soul Steeper. The primary plan is to turn every incidental life-gain trigger into table-wide draining, then pair that with Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror to create an infinite life-loss loop. Dina herself is both the fastest repeatable drainer and a usable sacrifice outlet, often feeding the Protean Hulk line. The deck backs that up with a classic Blood Artist/Gravecrawler engine, Sanguine Bond/Enduring Tenacity redundancy, and one-shot finishers like Exsanguinate and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. With a 36-land base, cheap mana dorks, and three unrestricted tutors, the deck is built to assemble its two-piece loops quickly while the aristocrats shell gives it a real mid-game plan even before the combo comes together.
