yuriko $50 budget by BenIsFunne

Format: Commander

Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow runs a tempo-ninja plan: one-mana unblockable creatures are swapped into Ninjas during combat, while Yuriko's drain turns every successful Ninja hit into a global life-total shrink. The deck's secondary path is Satoru Umezawa, who acts as a hidden commander by giving every creature card ninjutsu and letting you cheat big threats like Silent-Blade Oni into play. Top-of-library manipulation through Brainstorm, Faerie Seer, Diabolic Vision, and Dig Through Time ensures Yuriko reveals high-mana cards for massive drains. Maskwood Nexus further makes every creature a Ninja, maximizing triggers. The deck wins primarily through repeated Yuriko triggers, with combat and card theft cleaning up survivors.
