Sauron, the Dark Lord by Kelcium

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Grixis deck is built around Sauron, the Dark Lord as a card-advantage engine and amass payoff. The primary plan is to grow a single Army token through amass triggers, protect it with hexproof, menace, trample, or unblockable effects, and finish with pump spells like Assault on Osgiliath and Isengard Unleashed. Secondary paths use discard payoffs-Bone Miser, Feast of Sanity, Monument to Endurance-to convert Sauron's ring-tempt draws into zombies, mana, and burn. All Will Be One and The Great Goblin turn counter placement into direct damage. Living Death provides a mass-reanimation reset. Sauron, the Lidless Eye is a secondary threat, not a hidden commander. The deck is a midrange value engine rather than a combo deck, with no infinite mana outlet.
