Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis discard attrition and spellslinger burn strategy commanded by Kefka, Court Mage. It aims to ramp into Kefka by Turn 4, triggering symmetric discard that Kefka breaks asymmetrically by drawing cards for each card type discarded across the pod. Once online, the deck leverages continuous discard engines alongside punishers such as Megrim, Raiders' Wake, Waste Not, and Entropic Battlecruiser to shred opponents' resources while draining their life totals. A secondary Wizard spellslinger package featuring Vivi Ornitier, Gandalf, Goblins' Bane, and Black Waltz No. 3 chips in additional table-wide damage on every noncreature cast. To close games swiftly when attrition stalls, the deck packs an instant-kill combo in Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame, as well as massive card draw via Peer into the Abyss to fuel an explosive transformed Kefka finish.
