Gorma the Cutie by SassSerenity94

Format: Commander

Commander: Gorma, the Gullet

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Gorma, the Gullet is the engine of a Golgari persist-combo deck that plans to win by looping a persist creature through a free sacrifice outlet. Each creature death grows Gorma and, more importantly, makes nontoken creatures enter with extra +1/+1 counters; that bonus offsets persist's -1/-1 counter, allowing an infinite sacrifice loop. Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Vengeful Bloodwitch convert each iteration into life loss for all opponents, while Cauldron of Essence doubles as a drainer and recursion engine. Tutors and cheap sacrifice-draw spells assemble the combo quickly, and the deck can pivot to incremental aristocrat value, Treasures, or commander beatdown if the combo is disrupted. No hidden commander.
