Winning a Pulitzer At 50 by GulliasTurtle

Format: Commander

Commander: The Muckslinger Gang

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

The Muckslinger Gang is a global +3/+3 multiplier. While creatures stay untapped, it turns mana dorks, fling outlets, and graveyard scavenge cards into oversized weapons. The primary plan is to accelerate into a huge threat, compound its power with +1/+1 counters from Thickest in the Thicket and scavenge, then sacrifice it to Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord for lethal to all opponents. Become the Avalanche and Unnatural Growth provide the burst. The commander has only one face, and there is no hidden subcommander; supporting legends like Goreclaw, Ziatora, and Coram fill redundant roles rather than define a second independent plan.
