Format: Commander

Commander: Radagast of Rhosgobel

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Radagast of Rhosgobel heads a mono-green "fair but enormous" battlecruiser strategy: the deck's identity is mana, then more mana, then a squadron of game-ending monsters. Radagast's first-creature-each-turn discount makes 7- to 9-drops playable a full turn early, and his flash lets the deck deploy its enormous threats at instant speed while holding up protection. The 99 is built on an extremely dense ramp package (dorks, Cultivate-class spells, Exploration/Azusa, Lost but Seeking extra land drops, Gaea's Cradle/Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx), a solid shell of creature-draw engines (Beast Whisperer, Guardian Project, The Great Henge), and multiple hand-dumping cheat effects (Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, Last March of the Ents, Court of Bounty, Web of Life and Destiny). It finishes primarily through Craterhoof Behemoth overruns, Summon: Bahamut's Mega Flare, or annihilator beats plus Emrakul, the Promised End's extra turn. There are no infinite combos - just tremendous green inevitability.
