Deck overview

This is a Mardu "damage reflection" deck helmed by Queen Marchesa. The primary game plan is to deploy damage-reflecting creatures - Boros Reckoner, Spitemare, Brash Taunter, Stuffy Doll, and their ilk - then turn a mass-damage spell (Blasphemous Act, Chain Reaction) or Arcbond on them, reflecting lethal damage to every opponent at once. The commander provides the monarch draw engine and deathtouch Assassin tokens that deter attacks and chip in. Secondary paths include Strixhaven Stadium's point-counter kill and combat damage from monarch tokens and planeswalker ultimates. The deck is a classic "spitemare" build: it wants its own creatures damaged, so its "board wipes" double as finishers.
