Deck overview

This is a classic Golgari Elfball list helmed by Lathril, Blade of the Elves. The plan is straightforward: flood the board with Elf mana dorks and token-makers, amplify them with tribal anthems and lords, then either alpha-strike through combat or untap into Lathril, Blade of the Elves's tap-ten-Elves drain for a table-wide life swing. Lathril, Blade of the Elves supplies both a menace attacker that mints Elf Warrior tokens on connect and a non-combat closer that punishes stalled boards. The 99 backs her with dense one- and two-mana dorks, several lord effects, token payoffs like Nadier's Nightblade and Skemfar Shadowsage, and a real recursion package headlined by Bloodline Bidding. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck wins through go-wide combat inevitability and repeated drain activations. Average mana value sits at a comfortable 2.78, so the curve supports early development and mid-game snowball turns.
