Commander: Brigone, Soldier of Meletis

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Brigone, Soldier of Meletis is a monowhite heroic/voltron deck. The primary plan is to cast cheap auras, instants, and equipment-triggering spells at Brigone, turning each heroic trigger into a +1/+1 counter that is then cashed with her activated ability for card draw-solving white's card-advantage problem. Keleth, Sunmane Familiar acts as the hidden commander, supplying a free counter every attack. Bastion Protector and the protection package keep Brigone alive while Ethereal Armor, Loxodon Warhammer, Holy Avenger, and eventually Eldrazi Conscription turn one lucky swing into 21+ commander damage. The deck has no combo or infinite mana; every win is a patient, protected combat kill.
