Deck overview

This deck executes a focused aggro-control strategy centered on poison counters and proliferation. It opens by establishing early poison counters on opponents using evasive infect creatures, toxic beaters, or direct spells such as Ichor Rats and Infectious Inquiry. Once opponents are poisoned, Atraxa, Praetors' Voice and redundant proliferate engines steadily increment those counters toward lethal thresholds without needing to connect in combat repeatedly. The deck supports this game plan with a top-tier four-color mana base, dense card draw engines like The One Ring and Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres, and robust targeted interaction. While resilient against single-target removal thanks to dedicated protective creatures, the deck must navigate multi-turn board commitments to close out the game by turn 7.
