atraxa 2 by user6131722

Format: Commander

Commander: Atraxa, Praetors' Voice

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Atraxa deck wins by seeding poison counters with toxic creatures and Phyrexian Mites, then proliferating them to ten. Atraxa, Praetors' Voice gives a free proliferate each end step, while Contagion Engine, Karn's Bastion, Evolution Sage, and Contagion Dispenser add extra proliferate triggers. Doubling effects from Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, Doubling Season, Innkeeper's Talent, Doc Samson, and Kami of Whispered Hopes double poison and +1/+1 counters. Secondary paths include a life-drain loop with Dina, Soul Steeper plus Exquisite Blood and Sanguine Bond, and infinite turns with Magistrate's Scepter plus counter doublers. Atraxa accelerates but is not required; Vorinclex acts as the hidden engine.
