Deck overview

Led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, this Grixis aggro deck leverages the Villain creature type, connive triggers, and discard synergies to overwhelm opponents. The deck establishes early board presence through low-cost Villains and mana rocks before deploying Doctor Doom on Turn 4. Doom immediately accelerates the engine by granting menace and connive at combat, cycling cards, growing attackers with +1/+1 counters, and converting discarded lands into direct life loss. As the mid-game unfolds, token generators such as Madame Hydra, Ultron, Unlimited, and Mysterio, Master of Illusion flood the board, while anthem and evasion enablers like The Squadron Sinister and Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon turn the army lethal. Powerful one-sided sweepers like Kindred Dominance clear opposing defenses while preserving your Villain board. Although the deck lacks stack interaction and instant-speed sweep protection, its commander redundancy, high creature density, and resilient graveyard mechanics ensure persistent offensive pressure.
