Deck overview

This Grixis deck utilizes Silas Renn, Seeker Adept and Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar as partner commanders, functioning primarily as a fast combo engine. It leverages compact win conditions in Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact, supported by Underworld Breach storm lines with Brain Freeze and Lion's Eye Diamond. Dense 0-to-1 CMC fast mana and efficient tutors enable consistent Turn 3 assembly. Free counterspells like Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship protect the win attempt on the stack. In addition to combo velocity, the list carries proactive disruption including Opposition Agent, Ashiok, Dream Render, and Dauthi Voidwalker to constrain opponent searches and graveyards. However, the inclusion of several high-CMC Eldrazi, tap-lands, and infect equipment dilutes its overall focus, alongside a material weakness to resolved stax permanents due to minimal creature removal.
