Format: Commander

Commander: Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward and Candlekeep Sage

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Azorius Blink helmed by Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward with the Candlekeep Sage Background is a flicker-value engine that snowballs through repeated commander ETBs. Each time Abdel Adrian enters, he exiles any number of your other nonland permanents, creates a 1/1 Soldier token for each, and with Candlekeep Sage on the battlefield you draw a card. By chaining instant-speed flicker effects (Cloudshift, Ephemerate, Ghostly Flicker) and permanent-based blinkers (Teleportation Circle, Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, Conjurer's Closet, Soulherder, Abuelo, Ancestral Echo) you generate a growing army of Soldier tokens, accumulate card advantage, and can eventually close the game with a mass-pump like Moonshaker Cavalry or an anthem Inspiring Leader. Backup wins include the Helm of Obedience + Rest in Peace exile-mill combo, Laboratory Maniac after drawing your entire deck, and Walking Ballista if you assemble infinite mana via Peregrine Drake loops. The deck is a durdly value pile that aims to out-grind three opponents through inevitability rather than explosive speed.
