Ob Nix by RolaufTheWizard

Format: Commander

Commander: Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos "exactly 1 life" drain deck built around Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin. The core plan is to stack repeatable one-damage triggers - Firebrand Archer, Kessig Flamebreather, Molten Gatekeeper, Footlight Fiend, Underworld Dreams, and Subversion - so opponents are constantly losing exactly 1 life. Each such trigger grows Ob, exiles cards for you to cast, and eventually turns the commander into a large flying/trample threat. The primary fast win is assembling All Will Be One with Ob and any 1-life drain effect to create a recursive damage loop. Secondary and backup wins are incremental table-wide drain from Syr Konrad, the Grim, death triggers, enchantment drain, and commander damage from an oversized Ob.
