Deck overview

This Simic midrange deck centers on accumulating +1/+1 counters to build massive evasive threats while generating steady card advantage. Led by Beast, Erudite Aerialist, the deck leverages cheap counter placement to grant its commander flying and draw cards on combat damage. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration and counter engines such as Hadana's Climb // Winged Temple of Orazca, Forgotten Ancient, and Court of Garenbrig. As the creature board expands, power doublers and overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede, Wolverine, Claws Out, and Simic Ascendancy transition incremental advantage into game-ending pressure. Defensive spells like Inspiring Call, Snakeskin Veil, and Slip Out the Back protect key permanents from removal while advancing counter synergies. The list features strong internal redundancy and backup lines, allowing it to maintain pressure even when facing removal.
