Deck overview

Helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord, this Grixis list is a midrange "amass Orcs" value deck built around the Ring-tempts mechanic. Sauron's amass trigger on every opponent spell and his discard-hand-to-draw-four trigger create a powerful card-flow engine once he resolves. The primary win path is combat: grow a single enormous Army with March from the Black Gate, Warg Rider, Saruman, the White Hand, and amass spells, then close with Assault on Osgiliath to give Orcs and Goblins double strike and haste. All Will Be One and The Great Goblin convert amass triggers into direct damage, while Sauron, Lord of the Rings, Living Death, and Sauron, the Necromancer form a reanimation backbone. The Ozolith preserves counters through wipes. This is a battlecruiser-style table deck, not a combo deck, with several "hidden commanders" in the 99.
