Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai spellslinger strategy helmed by Gnostro, Voice of the Crags, blending spell-velocity payoffs with combat prowess and equipment. The game plan focuses on establishing early mana rocks and utility permanents before landing burn multipliers such as Guttersnipe, Thermo-Alchemist, Ral, Storm Conduit, and Sorcerer Class. While Gnostro provides tactical flexibility through creature removal, scrying, and lifegain based on your storm count, the deck's primary route to victory is noncombat table burn complemented by attacks from threats like Thor Odinson and Aurelia, the Warleader. With a low tutor density and an absence of compact infinite loops, the deck operates at a casual pacing, assembling its key damage multipliers around turns 5 to 7 and closing the game around turn 10 through repeated spell casting.
