Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered Mono-Black Aristocrats and Reanimator strategy designed to dominate the board through continuous sacrifice loops, crushing asymmetric attrition, and compact infinite drain combos. Led by Avacyn, Angel of Horror, the list leverages heavy mana acceleration via rituals and big-mana lands like Cabal Coffers alongside premier black tutors to quickly assemble its engine. The primary victory condition utilizes Gravecrawler combined with Warren Soultrader (or Phyrexian Altar) and a drain payoff like Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat to drain the entire table on Turn 5. If the combo is contested, the deck seamlessly transitions into a stax-like attrition plan with Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, and Tergrid, God of Fright, or executes devastating mass reanimation with Living Death and Gray Merchant of Asphodel. With abundant redundancy and resilient graveyard recursion, the deck routinely recovers from opposing disruption.
