Deck overview

This is a Sultai Elf-tribal "activated abilities matter" combo deck helmed by Thranduil, the Elvenking. The core plan is to fill the graveyard with Elves - via Entomb, Buried Alive, Gifts Ungiven, Grisly Salvage, Ripples of Undeath, and Hermit Druid - then turn Thranduil into a swiss-army engine: he gains every activated ability of every Elf in the yard, letting him tap for massive amounts of mana once Priest of Titania, Marwyn, the Nurturer, Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, Wirewood Channeler, or Deathbloom Ritualist are binned. Necrotic Ooze and Marvin, Murderous Mimic are commander redundancy in the 99, and Prime Speaker Vannifar pods into combo pieces. The deck breaks the game with Umbral Mantle or Staff of Domination loops, converting infinite mana into Walking Ballista pings, an Exsanguinate drain, or a staff-fueled draw into Lathril, Blade of the Elves. Elf beatdown with Timberwatch Elf, Greenhilt Trainee, and Tyvar, the Pummeler is the fallback lane.
