Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Green Stompy and Landfall Midrange engine commanded by The Earth King. The core strategy accelerates early mana through efficient 1-mana dorks and enchantments, casting The Earth King on Turn 3 to create a 4/4 Bear token. On Turn 4, attacking with 4-power creatures triggers the commander to pull basic Forest cards onto the battlefield tapped, fueling explosive landfall engines and card draw enchantments like Garruk's Uprising and Elemental Bond. On Turn 5, the deck deploys massive threats such as Avenger of Zendikar, Rampaging Baloths, or Surrak and Goreclaw. It closes the game on Turn 6 by tutoring or casting decisive overrun finishers like Craterhoof Behemoth or Finale of Devastation, trampling over opposing defenses. While low on reactive stack interaction and stax, the deck achieves consistent velocity, high card draw throughput, and strong engine recovery through its interchangeable stompy threats.
