Deck overview

This deck is a focused four-color midrange strategy built around Atraxa, Praetors' Voice. Its primary game plan is to inflict early poison counters on each opponent using low-cost toxic and infect creatures, then leverage Atraxa's end-step trigger alongside secondary proliferate cards to tick those counters up to 10. The creature suite consists largely of Phyrexians that benefit from asymmetric stax pieces like Phyrexian Censor and value engines like Ezuri, Stalker of Spheres. A balanced removal package containing flexible exile effects, targeted counterspells, and modular board wipes like Sunfall and Damn allows the deck to control the board while ticking opponents toward defeat. Because Atraxa possesses formidable defensive keywords (flying, vigilance, deathtouch, and lifelink), the deck can mount consistent pressure in combat while stabilizing life totals against aggressive opponents.
