Deck overview

This Mardu deck is a graveyard-centric reanimator and aristocrats build led by Terra, Herald of Hope. Terra acts as a self-contained engine, milling cards each combat and returning creatures with power 3 or less directly to play upon dealing combat damage. The list leverages high-synergy targets such as Celes, Rune Knight, Warren Soultrader, and Braids, Arisen Nightmare to generate continuous card advantage and board pressure. The primary win condition is an infinite damage loop combining Celes, Rune Knight, Murderous Redcap, and a sacrifice outlet like Goblin Bombardment or Viscera Seer, where Celes distributes +1/+1 counters to cancel out Persist's -1/-1 counters. Backup win paths include mass reanimation via Living Death paired with group slug damage from Purphoros, God of the Forge or Bloodletter of Aclazotz. With robust recursion and versatile removal, the deck maintains high resiliency across table rotations.
