Format: Commander

Commander: High Perfect Morcant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elf tribal deck helmed by High Perfect Morcant, pairing a classic wide-board Elf swarm with a -1/-1 counter and proliferate subtheme. The primary plan is to ramp aggressively with mana dorks like Elvish Archdruid, Wirewood Channeler, and Llanowar Tribe, then go wide with token generators such as Elvish Warmaster, Imperious Perfect, and Lys Alana Huntmaster. The commander adds incremental value by blighting opponents' creatures on every Elf ETB and proliferating, but the deck does not depend on him. Finishers include Craterhoof Behemoth for an overrun kill, Shaman of the Pack for a massive drain, and Lathril, Blade of the Elves's tap-ten ability. Skyshroud Poacher provides a repeatable tutor for key Elves, while Bloodline Bidding offers mass recursion.
