Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Simic combo-storm engine commanded by Alaundo the Seer. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating Alaundo onto the battlefield on Turn 3 using dense 1-drop mana dorks and land enchantments. Once active on Turn 4, Alaundo pairs with untap engines such as Chakram Retriever, Intruder Alarm, or dedicated untapper creatures like Seeker of Skybreak and Aphetto Alchemist. Each time Alaundo taps, he draws a card, exiles another with time counters, and removes time counters from all previously exiled spells. As low-cost spells resolve for free, they trigger further untaps, creating an exponential cascade that empties the library. The combo finishes on the same turn by casting Laboratory Maniac and drawing on an empty deck. Supporting interaction includes cheap counterspells, versatile bounce, and specialized 1-mana protection spells that grant hexproof while untapping Alaundo to maintain combo momentum.
