Deck overview

This is a Selesnya Bear-tribal aggro/midrange deck built around the two-card command zone of Wilson, Refined Grizzly and Folk Hero. Wilson is a cheap, uncounterable Bear with reach, vigilance, trample, and ward 2; the Background Folk Hero converts the first Bear spell each turn into a card draw. The deck piles on Bear synergies - Kudo, King Among Bears, Beorn the Fierce, Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, and Surrak and Goreclaw - plus token generation from Ayula's Influence, Dancing from Dark to Dawn, and Mother Bear. It wins through the combat step, typically by resolving Craterhoof Behemoth or an X=10 Finale of Devastation over a wide board. The tutor suite of Eladamri's Call, Worldly Tutor, Green Sun's Zenith, and Chord of Calling finds the finishers reliably, while Beast Whisperer, Guardian Project, Realmwalker, and Descendants' Path keep the hand full. It is a fair, combat-centric deck with strong one-turn protection but no countermagic.
