Deck overview

This Mardu deck utilizes Olivia, Opulent Outlaw to lead an aggressive outlaw-tribal and Treasure-centric strategy. The primary game plan focuses on deploying cheap, evasive Assassins, Mercenaries, Pirates, Rogues, and Warlocks during the opening turns to reliably trigger combat-damage Treasure creation once Olivia enters the battlefield. These accumulated Treasures provide substantial mana flexibility while fueling Olivia's repeatable sorcery-speed team buff, granting two +1/+1 counters to all friendly creatures. In the midgame, explosive payoffs like Vihaan, Goldwaker, Hellspur Posse Boss, and Mirkwood Bats convert Treasure generation into overwhelming combat damage and life drain. The deck maintains steady momentum using card-flow engines like Black Market Connections, Professional Face-Breaker, and Queen Marchesa, alongside a robust removal suite featuring free commander spells like Deflecting Swat and Deadly Rollick. While vulnerable to repeated board wipes and lacking dedicated combo tutors, the list executes a resilient, highly synergistic go-wide combat clock.
