Deck overview

This Izzet Dragon deck pairs Ganax, Astral Hunter with Feywild Visitor to generate explosive mana velocity and an evasive airborne army. Ganax converts every Dragon entering the battlefield into a Treasure token, which significantly offsets the high mana costs of the tribe. Meanwhile, Feywild Visitor rewards combat damage by creating 1/1 flying Faerie Dragon tokens, which trigger further Dragon synergies. The deck accelerates through early turns using cost reducers and mana rocks, establishing Ganax on Turn 4. On Turn 5, it deploys lethal damage engines such as Terror of the Peaks, Dragon Tempest, or Utvara Hellkite to burn opponents and expand the board. Free defensive spells like Fierce Guardianship and Deflecting Swat protect the engine during vulnerable windows. A backup infinite combo with Niv-Mizzet, Parun and Curiosity provides an alternate route to victory if combat paths are stalled.
