Deck overview

This deck is a specialized Grixis enchantment control build focused on Curses and sacrifice recursion, piloted by Lynde, Cheerful Tormentor. The core game plan establishes an efficient resource engine by casting low-cost Curses, sacrificing them through bargain spells or repeatable outlets like Claws of Gix, and returning them to the battlefield on the end step. On each upkeep, Lynde shifts these Curses onto opponents, drawing two cards and steadily building overwhelming card advantage. The deck transitions into the midgame by deploying powerful continuous threats such as Curse of Misfortunes, Descent into Avernus, and Grievous Wound. Life totals are swiftly demolished through asymmetric damage multipliers like Wound Reflection and Heartless Hidetsugu. Supported by a robust interactive suite of countermagic, creature removal, and pillowfort defenses like Propaganda, the deck controls the pace of the table before closing out the game across two decisive combat and upkeep cycles.
