Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul big-mana stompy strategy centered on ramping into Etali, Primal Conqueror to generate massive tempo and board presence. By utilizing a dense core of 1–2 CMC mana dorks, land-search sorceries, and cost reducers, the deck reliably reaches 7 mana by Turn 5. Upon entry, Etali exiles and casts the top nonland card of every player's library for free, frequently providing four high-impact spells in a single turn. The deck capitalizes on this board state by either transforming Etali into Etali, Primal Sickness to eliminate opponents via 11 trample poison damage or overwhelming the table with colossal Dinosaurs such as Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant and Carnage Tyrant. While the deck possesses explosive mid-game power, it is vulnerable to countermagic on its 7-mana commander and relies on creature-dependent bite spells for interaction.
