Marchesa, The Insurance Company by GortTheCapybara

Format: Commander

Commander: Marchesa, the Black Rose

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Marchesa, the Black Rose helms an aggressive aristocrats and counter-synergy engine that leverages death triggers, Treasure generation, and persistent board recursion. The primary plan establishes sacrificial loops using free sacrifice outlets like Viscera Seer and Carrion Feeder alongside counter-enablers like Gev, Scaled Scorch or Metallic Mimic. These loops recur creatures endlessly to drain opponents through Mayhem Devil or Al Bhed Salvagers. Alternatively, the deck generates overwhelming Treasure velocity with Pitiless Plunderer and Goldspan Dragon to fuel lethal burst damage from Smaug the Magnificent or unblockable combat via Herald of Secret Streams and Uncivil Unrest. Marchesa acts as an insurance engine, granting dethrone and recycling modified creatures every end step.
