Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Elfball Combo strategy commanded by Thranduil, the Elvenking. The primary game plan leverages traditional Elf mana acceleration to cast the commander ahead of curve, then uses graveyard tutors such as Buried Alive to place activated abilities directly into the graveyard. By copying Devoted Druid alongside high-yield mana producers like Priest of Titania or Circle of Dreams Druid, Thranduil generates infinite green mana and infinite untaps, which are converted into instant table-wide lethal drain with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord or infinite trample combat damage via Ezuri, Renegade Leader. Beyond the combo line, the deck features redundant go-wide beatdown pathways fueled by Finale of Devastation, Tyvar, the Pummeler, and Lathril, Blade of the Elves. A robust draw package ensures consistent resource replenishment, while targeted countermagic and hexproof equipment shield key execution turns.
