Deck overview

This deck combines high-tempo Sultai Elfball mana acceleration with an explosive graveyard combo strategy led by Thranduil, the Elvenking. By utilizing Thranduil's ability to inherit activated abilities from all Elf cards in your graveyard, the deck turns premier tutors like Buried Alive, Survival of the Fittest, and Entomb into single-card win setup engines. Putting Devoted Druid and Immaculate Magistrate into the graveyard allows Thranduil to untap himself repeatedly while placing infinite +1/+1 counters on your creatures and generating infinite green mana. The deck converts this state into an immediate win using Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to drain the entire table or casting Finale of Devastation for a massive trample assault. Supported by robust protection like Heroic Intervention and backup Elfball overrun lines through Ezuri, Renegade Leader and Allosaurus Shepherd, the deck presents a resilient and highly lethal clock.
