Deck overview

This mono-green aggressive deck uses Shroofus Sproutsire to turn single-target combat pumps into explosive token generation. By deploying 1-CMC mana accelerants on Turn 1, the deck reliably casts its commander on Turn 2. On Turn 3, cheap pump spells such as Invigorate, Primal Bellow, or Vines of Vastwood allow Shroofus to trample over defenders, dealing heavy combat damage and creating an equivalent number of 1/1 green Saproling tokens. On Turn 4, payoffs like Beastmaster Ascension, Eldrazi Monument, or Return of the Wildspeaker transform this initial wave into lethal combat pressure. Because each connecting Saproling duplicates itself through the commander's ability, the board snowballs exponentially. A dense package of 1-mana and 2-mana protective tricks shields key creatures from opposing removal, while mass card draw spells like Shamanic Revelation and Toski, Bearer of Secrets replenish the hand to close out the game by Turn 5.
