Sarulf tokens by Kricked

Format: Commander

Commander: Sarulf, Realm Eater

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Golgari aristocrats deck, helmed by Sarulf, Realm Eater, pairs a wide token swarm with sacrifice-based value and drain. The primary plan is to generate tokens, feed them to sacrifice outlets for card draw, mana, and forced-sacrifice effects, and bleed opponents out with drain triggers. Sarulf serves as a board-wipe-in-command-zone, exiling the table's nonland permanents while the deck rebuilds faster than opponents. Secondary wins include a massive token-swarm combat swing (Avenger of Zendikar, Tendershoot Dryad, Return of the Wildspeaker) and a clunky but real infinite combo (Ashnod's Altar + Pitiless Plunderer + Chatterfang, Squirrel General + a token generator + a drain effect). A +1/+1 counter subtheme (Hardened Scales, Corpsejack Menace, Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider, The Ozolith) supercharges both Sarulf's wipe and the token plan.
