Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Dimir spellslinger and kindred strategy commanded by Lord of the Nazgûl. The game plan accelerates mana in the early turns using two-mana artifacts, establishing Lord of the Nazgûl by turn four. Once the commander is active, every low-cost instant, sorcery, and cantrip creates a 3/3 black Wraith creature token with menace. The deck leverages high spell density and efficient card filtering to rapidly assemble a menacing swarm of Wraiths. The payoff escalates dramatically as the Wraith count reaches nine, triggering the commander's ability to turn all Wraiths into 9/9 attackers, or through stacked counters from the nine included copies of Nazgûl. One-sided sweepers like Raise the Palisade and Kindred Dominance clear opposing blockers, allowing an overwhelming alpha strike to eliminate the table by turn seven. A robust suite of low-cost countermagic and instant-speed removal protects the board state while simultaneously fueling the token engine.
