Deck overview

This Grixis deck is commanded by Be'lakor, the Dark Master, focusing on a high-impact Demon tribal strategy that blends massive aerial combat with direct burn and card draw. The early game focuses on deploying efficient 2-mana artifacts and cost reducers to cast Be'lakor ahead of schedule on Turn 5. Once Be'lakor is established, every subsequent Demon entering the battlefield acts as removal or direct face damage via his Lord of Torment ability. Standalone heavyweights like Bloodthirster, Lord of Change, and Archfiend of Depravity exert crushing board control and rapid life-total pressure. Win conditions culminate in massive burn triggers, multiple combat steps, Warstorm Surge redundancy, or a kicked Rite of Replication that deals 150 direct damage. While the deck carries a high mana curve, its robust ramp package, high-threat density, and alternate win routes provide steady resilience throughout mid-to-late game multiplayer pods.
