New Untitled Deck by MTGBolas

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai Elf deck is built around Thranduil, the Elvenking as a graveyard-activated-ability engine. It floods the board with cheap Elf mana dorks, fills the graveyard with utility Elves, then uses Thranduil's ability to activate those cards from the graveyard: Priest of Titania and Elvish Archdruid become explosive mana abilities, Devoted Druid becomes an untap-and-mana engine, and Ezuri, Renegade Leader provides regeneration and a repeatable overrun. The 99 is packed with legendary Elves - including Thranduil the Strategist and Thranduil, Sindarin Liege - that trigger the commander's draw-two and make landfall tokens. Primary wins are combat via Ezuri pumps, a ten-Elf table-drain with Lathril, Blade of the Elves, a big-creature sacrifice with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, and a net-positive Staff of Domination mana loop into infinite overrun. Heavy self-mill and reanimation make it a resilient midrange-combo deck.
