Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Gruul stompy deck led by Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers. The primary strategy focuses on deploying early ramp to accelerate into the seven-mana commander by turn 5. Thanks to native haste and trample, the commander attacks the turn it arrives, triggering a free creature cheat from the top of the library directly into combat. The creature suite is packed with massive threats like Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Gigantosaurus, and Elder Gargaroth that immediately overwhelm blockers. The deck finishes games over turns 6 and 7 by compounding wide, high-power boards with game-ending overrun effects such as Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. While vulnerable to instant-speed interaction and board wipes, the deck includes cheap defensive instants like Tamiyo's Safekeeping and Gaea's Gift to protect key pieces. Backup plans rely on hardcasting large dinosaurs and utilizing secondary cheat engines like Doors of Durin to maintain constant lethal pressure.
