Deck overview

Avatar Aang is a four-color midrange deck that transforms into Aang, Master of Elements by performing all four bending types in one turn. The front face draws cards off bend triggers, while the back reduces spell costs {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} and provides a massive upkeep payoff: life, cards, counters, and damage. The deck wins through commander damage via repeated upkeeps and extra combats, or with big threats like Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Maelstrom Wanderer backed by Living Death and Insurrection. It uses Yisan, the Wanderer Bard and Garruk Relentless to tutor key creatures, and a solid removal suite to control the board. The mana base is slow but functional.
