Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck is commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER, who serves as a reliable card draw engine and life drain outlet directly from the command zone. The deck focuses on deploying cheap, recurring creatures and token producers such as Bitterblossom, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Forsaken Miner during the opening turns. On turn 3, Sephiroth enters to immediately convert fodder into fresh cards and life swings. By turn 4 or 5, the deck leverages mass edicts, sacrifice outlets, and stax pieces like Grave Pact and Braids, Cabal Minion to achieve four creature deaths in a single turn. This transforms Sephiroth into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel and grants the permanent, un-interactable Super Nova emblem. From there, continuous death triggers, doubled by The Masamune and amplified by aristocrats like Blood Artist and Ayara, First of Locthwain, drain the table while wiping opposing boards.
