New Untitled Deck by user1288974

Format: Commander

Commander: Maralen, Fae Ascendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant is the deck's value engine rather than its primary win condition. Each Elf or Faerie entering exiles the top two cards of an opponent and enables one free spell cast per turn from that exile pile, giving the deck card advantage and a theft subtheme. The primary plan is to build a wide Elf/Faerie board and finish through Lathril, Blade of the Elves as a hidden commander, using her activated drain or a large Overwhelming Stampede. Secondary paths include Haldir/Devoted Druid mana synergies and Maralen's free casting of stolen interaction and threats. The overall game plan is midrange: ramp, accumulate Elves, then convert the board into a one-turn kill.
