Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Spellslinger strategy built around Saruman, the White Hand. It converts every noncreature spell into raw power by creating and growing a massive Orc Army token. By casting an array of removal, counterspells, cantrips, and burn spells, the deck rapidly inflates its central creature while granting it ward protection. Supporting threats such as Lord of the Nazgûl, Sauron, the Dark Lord, and Ovika, Enigma Goliath widen the board with complementary tokens. Combat modifiers like trample from Orcish Siegemaster, unblockability from Corsairs of Umbar, and burst finishers like Assault on Osgiliath or Fling allow the deck to knock out opponents in sequential lethal strikes. Because the deck funnels immense resources into a single token, it balances offensive pressure with reactive stack interaction and hexproof tricks to preserve its battlefield investments.
