New Untitled Deck by Calnaer

Format: Commander

Commander: Korlash, Heir to Blackblade

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This mono-black deck is a dedicated Voltron strategy commanded by Korlash, Heir to Blackblade. The core plan is to rapidly increase the number of Swamps you control, making Korlash enormous, then suit him up with a dense suite of Equipment - particularly Lashwrithe, Nightmare Lash, and Blackblade Reforged - to kill in one or two commander-damage hits. Ramp is the engine: cards like Crypt Ghast, Nirkana Revenant, Magus of the Coffers, Caged Sun, and Gauntlet of Power double Swamp mana, while Sword of the Animist and Liliana of the Dark Realms fetch basics. Evasion is provided by Rogue's Passage, Shizo, Death's Storehouse, and Minas Morgul, Dark Fortress. The deck also includes a drain backup via Essence Harvest and Consuming Corruption, but the primary path is overwhelming combat damage from an unblockable, indestructible Korlash.
