Deck overview

This mono-red aggro deck uses Gornog, the Red Reaper to spearhead a fast, evasive Warrior tribal strategy. Gornog enters on Turn 3 with haste, attacking immediately to turn opposing creatures into Cowards that cannot block Warriors while pumping attacking Warriors for each Coward on the board. The deck amplifies this aggression using a high density of extra-combat cards, including Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, Combat Celebrant, and Relentless Assault, which trigger Gornog repeatedly to turn entire opposing boards into Cowards. In addition to overwhelming combat damage, the list contains a compact infinite combo between Aggravated Assault and Neheb, the Eternal that generates unbounded mana and attacks. Redirection spells like Bolt Bend and Return the Favor protect key pieces from targeted removal, while Blood Moon punishes greedy mana bases.
