Deck overview

The deck uses Jodah, the Unifier as a legendary-spell engine. Ramp and flexible lands help cast the five-color commander, after which each legendary spell can produce a free lesser legendary card from the library. The static power bonus turns a growing board into a combat threat. Captain Sisay, Sisay, Weatherlight Captain, and Dihada, Binder of Wills improve access, while Reki, the History of Kamigawa, Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain, Shanid, Sleepers' Scourge, and Rhystic Study provide additional draw when available. The deck has useful removal and conditional protection, but its main engine is expensive and vulnerable before it generates value. Its free hits are restricted by mana value and are not a guaranteed win. Najeela, the Blade-Blossom offers extra combats, but the deck cannot reliably pay five colored mana for every activation. The ordinary plan creates a strong board around turn 7, but lacks a dependable all-opponent finish or total lockout.
