Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is an aggressive Equipment and Hero midrange strategy centered on Captain America, First Avenger. The primary game plan deploys cheap Equipment in the early turns, casts Captain America on curve, and uses his Catch ability at the start of combat to bypass equip costs. Once equipped with high-mana-value weapons like Meteor Sword or stat boosters like Captain America's Shield, the deck applies heavy combat pressure while using Captain America's Throw ability to pick off opposing blockers and utility creatures. Midrange Hero creatures such as The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster, Thor Odinson, and Iron Man, Master of Machines provide secondary combat threats and incremental card advantage. The deck relies on fair combat damage, tempo plays, and spot removal to close games over several attack steps, lacking infinite combos or stax locks.
