kefka CEDH by wadadwadwadaw

Format: Commander

Commander: Kefka, Court Mage // Kefka, Ruler of Ruin

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis deck uses Kefka, Court Mage as an engine, not a combo piece. The front face forces discards and draws by card type, fueling Waste Not and wheels such as Wheel of Fortune and Windfall. The back face, Ruler of Ruin, draws when opponents lose life on your turn, but the deck rarely pays 8 to transform. Primary wins are Demonic Consultation plus Thassa's Oracle and Underworld Breach loops with Lion's Eye Diamond, Jeska's Will and Wheel of Fortune. Secondary lines use Hullbreaker Horror with Mana Vault and Sol Ring for infinite mana and Dualcaster Mage with Twinflame, Saw in Half and Essence Flux for infinite copies. Underworld Breach and Hullbreaker Horror act as hidden commanders.
